Can I generate web site traffic by giving a Yahoo! answer that lists a link to my site or a client’s site?

Answers has a Community Guideline against the “Post(ing) of content for advertising or commercial purposes. ” Would I be in violation of that if I listed a reference to my personal blog (with affiliate links) or my website (about my freelance services) or an article I’ve written for a client’s business?
